Kylian Mbappe has officially joined Real Madrid on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain. The French forward signed a five-year contract with the Spanish club, which will keep him at Real Madrid until 2029. The deal includes a significant signing-on fee of €150 million, which will be paid in installments.
Mbappe’s transfer marks the end of a long-running saga, as he had been linked with Real Madrid on numerous occasions in the past. He left PSG after his contract expired at the end of June 2024, having made a significant impact at the club with 256 goals in 308 appearances and multiple domestic titles.
Mbappe was officially presented as a Real Madrid player on July 16, 2024, just after the conclusion of the UEFA Euro 2024, where he represented France.
